West Elk Outfitters offers some of the best elk hunting in the state that takes place in the famous units 2 and 201. There are very few places in Colorado that have and hold true trophy bull elk but unit 2 and 201 are consistent in producing some of the largest bulls in the state each year. Tags will take residents 20-25 points and non residents 23-26 points. There are very few landowner vouchers available and they sell for a premium so if that is the route you would like to go to hunt a trophy bull please let us know and we can make arrangements. These hunts are fully guided and often there are several guides hunting for the bull of your dreams since we dedicate a lot of time and man hours scouting and finding these big bulls.
