Join us at West Elk Outfitters for your next Guided Colorado Elk Hunt on private and public land. Since 2007 we have been providing guided archery, muzzleloader and rifle elk hunts in western Colorado.
We have enjoyed some years of very high success up over 90% kill in some seasons but the average sits at 60% shot opportunity on our guided hunts.
We host a few different hunting options for different budgets. Fully guided hunts while staying in our hunting house, or base tent camp and drop camp hunts. The areas we hunt have over the counter tags for nonresidents during 2nd and 3rd rifle season only. The archery, muzzleloader, first rifle and 4th rifle are all draw only but can be drawn very easily. Application period for drawing a tag is in March with an April 4th deadline to apply.
